From the Locketts to the Williams family
Lockett-Williams Mortuary began with George and Lillian Lockett, who founded this funeral home and built a reputation for professionalism and dignified service across the Gulf Coast.
For more than two decades, the Reverend Theodore R. Williams, Jr., together with his late wife, the Reverend RoseMary Williams, carried that tradition forward. Retired educators and United Methodist pastors, their dedication to the communities they serve runs deep. RoseMary’s legacy of free grief counseling continues to comfort families to this day.

A chapel for family and friends
Our Gulfport facility spans 5,200 square feet, with a chapel that seats more than two hundred, so friends and family have room to gather, grieve, and heal together. We also serve families through our affiliate, Hayes Family Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
